Starting with the spring 2025 season, coaches may register separately from players. Coaches may add their registration to their child's player registration OR register separately under Volunteers.

At the time of registration all head coaches and assistant coaches must upload copies of the below:

1. Government-issued photo ID

2. Rutgers SAFETY Clinic card (one-time certification) Register HERE for a course.

3. Abuse Awareness Training certificate (annual recertification) Create an account and log in to the training portal HERE (WESTWOOD BASEBALL LL).
4. *Required For Tournament Coaches Only*  Diamond Leader Training Program (one-time certification) Log in to the training portal HERE

There must be at least one CPR-certified coach at every practice and game.

All coaches who complete this process will receive an email from J.D. Palatine with a link to a background check, which must be completed prior to the start of the season. Background checks are required to be completed on an annual basis.

*Any parent who wishes to coach must register and provide all required documentation in order to be eligible to be on the field during practices and games. Parents who have not met these requirements are not permitted on the field, as per Little League rules.*
